Hi! My name is Ms. Ortega, and I am so excited to welcome you to our classroom!
I am passionate about creating a positive and welcoming environment where every student feels safe, supported, and excited to learn.
I believe learning should be fun, meaningful, and full of opportunities to grow.
In our classroom, mistakes are okay they are part of learning! I look forward to getting to know each of my students, celebrating their progress,and making this a wonderful school year together.
I earned my Associate degree in Elementary Teacher Education from Taft College and my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies degree from California State University, Bakersfield, with a concentration in Social Sciences. I am currently completing a teaching credential program.
My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive classroom where all my students feel welcome, seen, valued, and excited to learn.
